Hi, I’m Charlie Bonnin.

I started matching pitch at 10 months old in a house where music was just the language we spoke. What I didn’t know then was that growing up surrounded by all that music and singing would eventually help me see patterns in how voices develop that most people, including traditional voice teachers, completely miss.

For years, I kept thinking I’d found my path. Energy healing in California, voice acting work, and music production. Each time I’d dive in completely, certain I’d finally found what would satisfy this persistent pull I couldn’t quite name. But something always felt incomplete.

My parents were both conservatory-trained professional singers, and my mom’s large Portuguese family filled gatherings with spontaneous barbershop harmony. I was harmonizing by 3 years old. I earned my BFA in Musical Theater from Emerson College, performed off Broadway, and got my energy healing certification from the Lionheart Institute. By 2015, I was teaching voice with what I called a “holistic approach,” blending energy work with vocal technique in ways that helped my students transform not just their voices, but how they showed up in the world.

One student told me: “I leave my vocal lessons feeling more grounded and confident every week! I have seen substantial improvement in my singing and have learned new skills as it relates to meditation and breath work.”

After my mom died in 2020, I found myself back in Maine teaching from the same studio where she had taught voice for many years. That’s when the last pieces clicked: when I started creating consciousness-enhanced audio and realized how voice work and consciousness development were part of the same thing. Voice Consciousness Integration was born.

Through what I call the Five-Pillar Framework, students discover that their voice patterns tell the story of their entire life. More importantly, they learn how working with those patterns consciously changes everything about authentic expression.

Your voice has been the through line of your entire experience. When you understand how it developed and start working with it consciously, it becomes the pathway to everything you’re trying to create: deeper relationships, confident presence, and a life that reflects who you truly are.

My Approach

My work meets you where you are, in your voice, your body, and your current experience. Together, we explore how your voice reflects your inner and outer world. Some sessions focus on refining vocal technique and expression; others dive deeper into breath, movement, or awareness practices that help regulate your nervous system and connect you back to your authentic sound.

Through guided meditation, visualization, and energy-based vocal work, we create the conditions for transformation to happen naturally. This process helps you strengthen your voice while uncovering the patterns that have shaped how you express yourself. Over time, your voice becomes more than a tool for communication; it becomes a mirror for your growth and a pathway to your most authentic expression.
